The Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2025-26) is an initiative by Valvoline Cummins Private Ltd. (VCPL)designed to provide financial and mentorship support to deserving students. The program focuses on helping children of commercial drivers, mechanics, and students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) in India, ensuring that financial barriers do not interrupt their education.

This scholarship is available for students studying in Classes 9 to 12 from the southern, eastern, and northeastern states of India. Selected candidates will receive up to INR 12,000 to cover tuition fees, books, uniforms, and stationery, along with mentorship sessions to build confidence and guide them toward academic success.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Class Level: Students studying in Classes 9 to 12.
  2. Region: Students must belong to the southern, eastern, or northeastern states of India.
  3. Background:
    • Children of commercial drivers (LMV/HMV).
    • Children of mechanics.
    • Students belonging to the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category.
  4. Academic Performance: Minimum 60% marks in the previous class.
  5. Family Income: Total family income should not exceed INR 8 lakh per annum.
  6. Not Eligible: Children of VCPL employees or its implementation partner organisations.

  • Parent’s profession proof (Driving License/Shramik Card/Employer confirmation/Self-declaration)
  • Income proof (Gram Panchayat/SDM/DM/Tehsildar certificate, ITR, or salary slips)
  • Bank account details of applicant
  • Recent passport-size photograph

Note: If the student cannot pay fees upfront, they may submit a fee letter from the institute to get the scholarship amount in advance. Final receipts must be submitted later via the online scholar tracking system.

Application Process for Muskaan Scholarship 2025-26

  2. Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to be redirected to the Buddy4Study portal.
  3. Login with your registered ID or sign up using email, mobile number, or Gmail.
  4. Navigate to the Muskaan Scholarship Program 2.0 (2025-26) page.
  5. Click ‘Start Application’ and fill in the online form with accurate details.
  6. Upload all the required documents.
  7. Accept the Terms & Conditions and preview the form.
  8. Submit the application online.

Selection Process

  1. Application Submission: Fill out and submit the online form.
  2. Shortlisting: Based on eligibility and socio-economic status.
  3. Document Verification and Telephonic Interaction.
  4. Panel Interviews: Conducted via Zoom or in-person at Muskaan camps.
  5. Final Selection & Onboarding: Successful candidates receive approval and the scholarship amount (up to INR 12,000).

Renewal of Scholarship

Students can renew the scholarship for subsequent years if they:

  • Continue their education and provide proof of promotion.
  • Score more than 60% marks in their previous class.
  • Submit authorised fee receipts for academic expenses.
  • Renewal is subject to the availability of funds.
