The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli has been officially released the notification for the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) 2025. This entrance exam is conducted for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program offered by participating NITs and IIITs for the academic year 2025-26. Eligible and interested candidates can apply online through the official website nimcet.admissions.nic.in from 17th April 2025 to 16th May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for NIMCET 2025
To be eligible for NIMCET 2025, candidates must:
- Be citizen of India.
- Candidate have secured at least 60% marks (6.5 CGPA) in a 3-year UG program with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects
(55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC/ST/PwD candidates)
OR - Hold a B.E./B.Tech. degree from a recognized institution.
Note: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in 2025 can also apply, but must provide proof of eligibility during admission.
