Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this scholarship the applicant must fulfill the following conditions:
- Must be pursuing full-time Graduate or Post Graduate degree or diploma in a notified institution
- Should have benchmark disability of 40 percent or more
- Annual family income must not exceed 6 lakh rupees
- Must not be the third disabled child in the family availing this scholarship Twins are exempted from this restriction
Exclusions
- Only two disabled children from the same parents are eligible except twins
- Students availing the scholarship by false statements will be blacklisted and required to refund the entire amount
- Change in course without prior approval from DEPwD will lead to cancellation
- Scholarship will not be granted if the student repeats the class
