Eligibility Criteria
Mukhyamantri Balak/Balika (10th Passed) Protsahan Yojana
Candidates must have passed the matriculation examination with 1st/2nd Division from Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB).
Mukhyamantri Kanya Uthan Yojana: Mukhyamantri Balika (Intermediate +2) Protsahan Yojana
Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination from Bihar School Examination Board.
Mukhyamantri Kanya Uthan Yojana: Mukhyamantri Balika (Snatak) Protsahan Yojana
Candidates must have obtained a graduate or its equivalent degree from constituent or affiliated degree colleges/institutions located within the state.
Mukhyamantri Medhavriti Inter SC/ ST Scholarship
Only SC and ST girl students who have passed the intermediate examination from Bihar School Examination Board with 1st and 2nd class are eligible.

Steps to Apply Online for Bihar Scholarship Application at medhasoft.bih.nic.in:
- To apply for the scholarship, eligible students must register through the Medha Soft portal https://medhasoft.bih.nic.in, which is developed by NIC.
- After successful registration, a user ID and password will be sent to the student’s registered mobile number and email ID after verifying the information provided during registration.
- Once the login credentials are received, the student can login to the portal and complete the application form and can check the status.
- Remember, the bank account used for the application should be in the name of the eligible student and operated in any Nationalized Bank, Recognized Private Bank or India Post Payment Bank branch located in Bihar.
- Eligible students can apply for the scholarship scheme until 31st May 2024.
